We test-drive each tool and publish a scored verdict out of 100, broken down across capability, usability, value, reliability, and documentation, alongside honest pros, cons, and a plain-English summary of what the tool actually does.

No pay-to-rank. No affiliate-driven ordering. If a tool is mediocre, the review says so.

Who it's for

If you're choosing tools — founders, marketers, developers, researchers — you get a real verdict before you burn a free trial or roll something out to your team. Browse by category, compare scores, and read the cons before you commit.

If you're a maker, you get a free reviewed listing with a dofollow link and distribution to people who are actively comparing tools in your category. Every submission is screened before it's listed, so being in the directory means something. We're also optimized for AI search, so listed tools get surfaced when people ask LLMs for recommendations.

What else we publish

Beyond the directory, we write data-driven guides and roundups built from our own review corpus — category rankings ("the best AI meeting note-takers, tested and scored"), practical guides for specific roles and use cases, and original analyses only a directory can write, like how many "free" AI tools are actually free.

Why we built it

Tool directories have quietly become pay-to-play link dumps: hundreds of unvetted listings ranked by whoever paid the most, with descriptions copy-pasted straight from marketing pages. We wanted the opposite — a directory where inclusion is earned, every submission is screened, and the review itself is the product. We reject far more than we list.

The bet is simple: in a market flooded with new AI tools every week, an honest verdict is worth more than a bigger catalogue.
