SourceX licenses enterprise operational data to AI labs, handling rights review, de-identification, contracts, delivery, and payment.
SourceX is an enterprise data transaction layer that connects companies with AI labs looking for real-world operational data. Businesses running on tools like Zendesk, Salesforce, Jira, GitHub Enterprise, or SharePoint accumulate years of support conversations, sales cycles, engineering histories, and approved documents. That material shows how work actually gets done, and almost none of it is publicly available. SourceX manages the licensing process on the supplier side: sourcing data, reviewing rights, removing personal details, drafting contracts, delivering the prepared dataset, and paying the company. AI developers use the same platform to request the specific records they need for model training.
SourceX is a platform and transaction layer that manages the licensing of enterprise operational data to AI companies. It covers the whole deal on behalf of the data supplier, from checking whether a company's records are a fit for AI training, through rights review and privacy preparation, to contract signature, data delivery, and payment. AI labs use the same platform to describe the data they need and submit a request.
No. The initial fit check asks only about company size, years operating, industry, and the systems in use. No files are uploaded during the assessment, and submitting a company for review does not commit it to anything. A deal only proceeds if the supplier approves the scope and signs an agreement, and a supplier can decline at any point before signing at no cost.
Companies receive a one-time fee after SourceX selects the data in writing, with payment timing and conditions set by the signed transaction agreement. The supplier keeps ownership of its original data, while rights to the prepared dataset, exclusivity, review, and confidentiality are defined in that agreement. Exclusivity is typical during the term, meaning the same data cannot be licensed elsewhere for AI training while the agreement is active.
SourceX is aimed at companies based in the United States, Canada, or the European Union with at least 50 full-time employees at peak headcount, excluding contractors, and several years of operating history. Companies that are still operating, have been acquired, or have wound down can all qualify.
